Historic Illustrations
Over the summer I worked for the regional Museum in Venlo (Limburgs Museum), in the Netherlands, and the results are now to be seen there. Not only that, 4 of the panels I made (about Venlo from prehistoric times to about the 18th century) are 6 meter wide. Which makes them the largest size artwork I ever created. The digital paintings were over 40000 pixels wide and it actually looks crisp and impressive. Still looking for a good way to display it on the site. I'm thinking video as a photograph will not bring across the dimensions well. For now I just posted the jpgs of the images in a new section "HISTORIC" so you can see what I'm talking about already. Exhibition is up until March 2012.
There's a huge book (300+ pages) available too with the panels in them. Also included are some additional historic illustrations (posted in the new section) depicting various sites in and around Venlo.

New Stuff!
Well, finally I got round to putting up a whole bunch of new images. I added some in the illustrations and storyboards department and added two new categories. Enjoy!

New Presentation!
It took me a while but a new presentation folder is ready for use. It has been for months, but I couldn't find the time to send them out, yet

I will now gradually replace the main images on this site. I kicked off with the above.

New Website Update !
While I was at it anyway, I actually added the DUTCH version of this site already.
Wasn't as much work as I thought and was afraid of. It's much more difficult to do a site from Dutch to English. As I found out when I posted my Duckling site that is more of a hobby and supposed to help people that find an orphaned duckling, like we did in 2007 (For those interested, that site is on the Links page)

Yes, I changed it all. Back to basics, really.
I got rid of a lot of clutter to make everything easier to browse through.

Appearance on Regional TV
Been on TV on a regional show, where I painted a hunting dog stumbling upon the logo of the TV station.
It was fun. Of course such events never go like you would want to.
I was on for about 6 or 7 times for only a couple of minutes each and the first time they stopped by me, I was practically done with painting the dog. While it was my intention to show the viewers how it came to be. Nevertheless it was a great experience. I should have some media training before I would do this again. But still. It wasn't that aweful.
